Land lines and telephones are expensive; especially if you are an international student at Penn State and you would like to be in touch with your family in your home country. However, nowadays if you have a high spend Internet connect, you should not worry as much. This is because of the emergence of Internet Phone service sine 1990s. MagicJack, and Skype are two Internet phone service that provides modern communication line to international countries with lower rates.
MagicJack is a matchbox-sized device that converts your normal phone jack to a USB outlet. First you should plug in the USB device into the computer to install the software. ReplyDeleteTo be quite honest, I would not recommend using MagicJack in my opinion. Vonage and Skype are much more reliable and dependable internet phone services that get the same job done at a similar price. Sure MagicJack is cheap, but you pay for what get, and what you get from MJ isn't great. Just my 2 cents.
